As a Senior Law Clerk with Foster & Company, I provide litigation support to the lawyers with respect to research, requests for information, preparing reports and assisting with our new immigration practice.
Born and raised in Dubai, I hold Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and Master of Laws (LL.M.) degrees from the International Islamic University of Chittagong, Bangladesh. In 2020, I completed a Master of Criminology (M.Crim.) degree at the University of Windsor.
After obtaining my law degrees, I worked as a junior lawyer in Feni Judge Court. I also worked with several Non-governmental Organizations (NGOs) providing emergency aid to refugees from Myanmar. While working with the NGOs, I participated in several national and international training sessions. I have studied and worked in the fields of Gender Based Violence, Case Management, Mediation and served with the Bangladesh National Cadet Corps. While studying at the University of Windsor, I worked as a Graduate Teaching assistant at the same university. In addition to the above work experience, I am a professional translator in four languages; Bengali, Hindi, Burmese, and English.
I enjoy learning about different cultures and places and love to travel. In my spare time, I enjoy painting, skating, cooking, photographing landscapes, seascapes, nature and animals. I enjoy family gatherings and very much look forward to celebrating holidays with family and friends. I have a special interest in helping disadvantaged children attain education and opportunities for their future.
